Questions & AnswersEveryone has questions about wedding films, and we are happy to answer them! Below are some we are commonly asked, but if you have a different query, don't hesitate to contact us. |
 |
 |
How much does it cost?
We can make any wedding film dream come true, but it's a bit like buying a car - you've chosen your make and model, and the colour... but what about all the extras? Air conditioning? Sunroof? What about a fancy stereo? Fluffy dice? (only kidding) It's no different with your wedding film. Our standard package is a cut above most, especially when it comes to editing - we use the best people and the best equipment to make sure your final wedding film is a stunning production - but you might decide you want a little bit more. A wedding film Ferrari with all the extras... rest assured that whatever you want, we can give you the keys. |

Do I really need a wedding film?
|
Try clicking "What actually happened" (on the right)... Can you spot the difference? It's a cliché to say that the day flies by, but having a good wedding film can give you a second chance to experience moments that just seem blurred and rushed in your memory. You can only be in one place at one time, but if you have a cameraman (or two) seeing things for you somewhere else, you can watch your guests arrive at the church while you get ready, or enjoy Uncle Derek's brave attempts at breakdancing to Kylie as you cut the cake.

How do I make a booking?
When you phone or email us to find out more and make a provisional booking we will ask you for the date so that we can check that we are not fully booked (the more notice you give us the better chance you have, obviously). We can film up to 10 weddings per weekend so the chances are that we can help you even if you think you have left it too late |

How many cameramen do I need?
We generally recommend one cameraman per 250 guests. It just makes sense - 500 people can spread out over quite a space, and if two things are going on in two different places (a band playing in one room while Auntie Dorothy sings her party piece in the banqueting room), we can capture both. If you are having a Jewish wedding, there is usually so much going on regardless of the number of guests that we'd recommend a minimum of two cameras. |

I'm getting married in Morocco... Do you travel?
We have filmed weddings in places as far apart as Toronto, Cannes, Cap D’Antibes, Scotland, Switzerland, Italy, Gibraltar, Isle of Scilly, Isle of Wight, Jersey, Holland, Germany, South Africa, Ireland, Morocco, Austria, Ibiza, Ephesus, Greece, L.A. and Wales! We will travel to any corner of the globe to be there for you. Naturally, it will have an impact on the costs, but it certainly beats hoping to find a professional English-speaking outfit in Marrakech! |

Can I have my ceremony filmed?
If you want your ceremony filmed in a Church or Synagogue, you must get the written agreement of the Priest, Rabbi, or Pastor. Assuming that is granted, we will position the camera in the best possible location before the service begins, and only move it if something blocks the view. The cameraman will then move to film the signing of the register and the bride and groom walking back up the aisle. |

What time do you usually stop filming?
We normally finish filming at 10pm, and regard anything after that as overtime - however, if you want everything on tape, we will get everything. We are happy to give you quotes for different end times so you can choose. Even on the day, if you want us to stay until they have to wheel your dad away, we will if we possibly can! |
